Vibe Technologies LLC (“Vibe Travel Stack,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights to control it. It applies to vibetravelstack.com, the Vibe Travel Stack web app, and any related services we operate.
1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service.

3. Why We Use It
We process your data only for these purposes:
- Provide the service. Authenticate, deliver eSIM/VPN/translation/FX features you’ve subscribed to.
- Process payments. Stripe handles your card; we receive only billing status + last 4.
- Customer support. Resolve your tickets and improve documentation.
- Service improvement. Aggregate, de-identified analytics on which features are used.
- Security. Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Legal compliance. Respond to lawful requests and meet tax/audit obligations.
- Communication. Send transactional emails (receipts, eSIM activation codes, password resets) and, with your opt-in, occasional product updates.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR / EEA / UK)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our lawful bases are:
- Contract — to deliver the service you’ve subscribed to.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, service improvement (balanced against your rights).
- Consent — marketing emails, non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — tax, accounting, lawful requests.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
We share your data only with vendors needed to operate the service. They are bound by data processing agreements:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not allow third parties to track you across sites.
6. International Transfers
Vibe Technologies LLC is based in the United States. If you are outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US (and other countries where our vendors operate). For EEA/UK users, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards with our vendors.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: we retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- After cancellation: account data is retained for 90 days, then anonymized or deleted, except billing records retained for 7 years for tax/audit compliance.
- Translation requests: deleted from logs within 24 hours.
- VPN session metadata: retained no longer than 30 days; never tied to browsing activity.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction — limit how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — for any consent-based processing.
- Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority.

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sales” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf.

10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, hashed passwords (bcrypt), least-privilege access controls, and regular review of vendor security postures. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that materially affects you, we will notify you within 72 hours of confirmation as required by law.
11. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our service evolves or laws change. Material changes will be announced via email and a banner on the site at least 30 days before taking effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
